Two More Warlocks

Here are two more warlocks for the retro Eldar army. There's not much to say about them: they're Jes Goodwin sculpts, they're from the early-mid 90s, and they're really good miniatures. They're obviously based off the same basic model, but the detail is excellent and they stand apart well. I particularly like the fact that one chap has antlers.

  1. The Kaki robes are really cool, but that detail work! The swirl on the staff! The tiny stars on the spearhead. So cool!! Great work!

    1. Thanks very much - as with many of these old sculpts, they were a pleasure to paint. I've got to come clean, though - the tiny stars are something of a mistake on the part of my painting/camera! One of Bob Ross' "happy accidents!"

    1. Cheers Suber! That whole run of models including the first warlocks, aspect warriors and avatar have aged really well. I've got a feeling they're almost all Goodwin sculpts. The Eldar did look really nice back then (and still do!).
